When:
The Chicagoland Scrollers meet 6 times a year, always on the
third Saturday of the months. Meeting dates for 2010 are:
- January 16
- March 20
- May 15
- July 17
- September 18
- October 16
We have a workshop
meeting during those months when there is not a regular meeting.
These are held at the home of Ray and Pat Lupori; 610 Daisy Lane;
Round Lake Beach, IL 60073. You can call 847-546-1319 for
directions. These meetings are also held on the third Saturday of the months.
Workshop dates for 2009 are:
- February 20
- April 17
- June 19
- August 21
- November 13- Holiday Party
Where:
Meetings are held at the Hobby Lobby store in Westmont. The
store is located at the corner of Cass Road and Ogden Avenue.
Meetings are from 1 PM to 3 PM.
Because of the broad geographic area covered by the club,
meetings are held during the day on a Saturday to allow for travel
time to and from without interfering with work schedules. Some of
our members drive for more than an hour to get to the meeting.
Field Trips:
Field trips are treks to another location or shop for a
particular purpose. In the past we have taken a field trip to
Richland Center, WI in order to visit Wildwood Designs. Annually
we attend the Klockit sale in Lake Geneve, WI. Other field trips
have been to wood stores and other places of interest in the
Chicago area.
